Kayak Cake

A friend of mine asked me to make a kayak themed cake for her husband's 60th birthday. Here's what I came up with...

What's great about this cake is everything is edible. The trees are Rice Krispie Treats with royal icing, mounted on pretzel rods. The kayak is also Rice Krispie Treats covered in Fondant, and the oar is made out of gum paste. This cake was so fun to make!
